Your own server instead of expensive hosting: VPS + Coolify, migrate from Heroku, Vercel, Render — with backups

I will set up a server where your websites, bots, and databases live on their own: they update from Git, make backups, and notify you if something goes down. I will migrate projects from Heroku, Vercel, Render, Railway, or old hosting — usually much cheaper at the same speed.

Who it's for: small companies, startups, and developers with 1–5 projects whose hosting bill grows faster than their users. Also for those whose server was "set up by a friend once" and no one knows how it works.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE BASE PRICE (from €250)
• Server selection and ordering on your account: Hetzner, Contabo, DigitalOcean, or another — within your budget and country.
• Basic security: key-only login, no password and no root, firewall (only necessary ports open), automatic security updates, protection against brute force.
• Coolify — a convenient panel instead of manual commands: see what's running, logs, environment variables, restart with one click.
• Up to 3 apps from Git: push changes — the site updates itself. If the new version fails to start, the previous one stays live.
• Database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) in a container, closed from the internet.
• Daily database backups to external storage (Backblaze, Cloudflare R2, Hetzner Storage). I verify restoration from a backup before delivery — a backup that has never been restored guarantees nothing.
• Domains, DNS, and HTTPS (certificates renew automatically), optionally Cloudflare in front of the site.
• Notifications via Telegram or email: site down, disk space low, deploy or backup failed.
• Instructions: how to deploy a new version, roll back, restore the database from a backup, what to do if the server is unresponsive.

MIGRATION
• I migrate apps and database from your current hosting: data copy, verification on the new server, DNS switch.
• Downtime is usually minutes. We switch at an agreed time, at night in your timezone if needed.
• I don't touch the old hosting until you confirm everything works on the new one.

BOUNDARIES — HONESTLY
• I don't do Kubernetes, complex infrastructure on AWS/GCP, clusters, or multi-server high availability. If you need that level of reliability — you need a full-time DevOps, not me.
• I don't set up your own mail server — I will connect a mailing service.
• More than 3 apps, databases larger than 20 GB, non-standard stack — quoted separately before starting.
• I'm not on call 24/7. Maintenance is separate: updates, backup monitoring, help with failures during business hours (MSK, UTC+3), from €60 per month.

COSTS
Server — usually €5–20 per month, storage for backups — €1–3 per month. Everything is in your name and paid directly by you.

HOW IT WORKS
1. You tell me what and where is currently running, send access to repositories and current hosting (or a database export).
2. Within 1 day — a plan: server, what we migrate, how we switch. We fix the price.
3. 2–4 days — setup and migration, verification of restoration from backup.
4. Switch, one week of monitoring, handover of access and instructions.

PAYMENT AND GUARANTEE
50% after plan approval, 50% after switch. Two weeks free fixes for anything related to my setup.

ACCESS AND SECURITY
All accounts are yours; I only need access during the work. After delivery, you delete my key and I no longer have access. Passwords and keys are shared via a password manager, not in correspondence. I will sign an NDA if needed.

EXPERIENCE
This board runs on my VPS under Coolify: an app with auto-deploy from GitHub, a separate PostgreSQL in a container, Cloudflare in front of the site, alongside other projects on the same server. I have migrated a database with a backup and a prepared rollback, and debugged failed deploys from logs.
